The only reason I'm knocking off one star is for a few minor technical details:
1. The fans on this card seem to be of only fair quality.
2. The biggest issue I had; when I got the card, and got it installed, the fans would constantly fluctuate from 1800-2200rpm. It was extremely loud, and very annoying to hear them spinning up, and down, repeatedly. I spent 3 days, and e-mails to ASUS tech support to get the issue resolved (the issue was resolved by me; ASUS just sent the generic e-mail telling me to reinstall drivers). What it finally came down to was a hardware issue with my sound card. ASUS Z87-PRO motherboard, ASUS Xonar DGX sound card: the sound card was installed in the bottom PCI-E x1 slot, and moving it to the top PCI-E x1 slot resolved the issue. The issue was not apparent until my sound stopped working completely, and it wasn't recognized in device manager at all, after 3 days of trying to figure out the fan issue.
