Pořad o mládí Anežky Přemyslovny (Anežka Česká 20. 1. 1211 – 2. 3. 1282), české abatyši z rodu Přemyslovců, dceři Přemysla I. Otakara a Konstancie Uherské, zakladatelce a první abatyši kláštera a špitálu sv. Františka na Starém Městě v Praze. V útlém věku byla zasnoubena se synem císaře Friedricha II. Jindřichem, sňatek byl však ženichem zrušen. Po smrti Přemysla I. Otakara se Anežka nadchla učením sv. Františka, s jehož duchovní sestrou sv. Klárou si dopisovala. V Praze založila Anežka špitál a dvojitý klášter františkánů a klarisek. V roce 1234 přijala řeholní roucho a roli abatyše kláštera klarisek. S podporou sv. Kláry z Assisi dosáhla v roce 1253 souhlas papeže s novými pravidly řehole, více odpovídajícími ideálům chudoby, a vzdala se hodnosti abatyše i všeho majetku. Anežka je také zakladatelka mužského rytířského řádu křižovníků s červenou hvězdou, jediného původního českého řádu. Ve středověku byla Anežka vždy velmi uctívána, v roce 1874 byla blahoslavena, a 12. 11. 1989 ji papež Jan Pavel II. prohlásil za svatou.
