Action VI –
Pets cannot be activated
Recruit 1 person
A Pet may be played into an empty house or one with a
Person already there. If a Pet is played into an empty house,
a Person can be played later into that house as well. Each
house may thus be occupied by 1 Person AND 1 Pet. The
Person should be placed on top of the Pet so the Person’s
function remains visible.
Notes on the Threats:
Pets have no function and thus cannot be activated like Persons. Animals are
simply there to provide milk, lay eggs, and keep their humans company.
The 3 majorities (reputation, people, canals) are verified as in the base game.
Note: Pets do not count towards the person majority.
Afterwards, the majority for Pets is checked as well. If a player has a clear
majority, he may turn his Pet Majority Marker to the points-earning side.
Plague: The player may also discard a
Pet instead of a “normal” Person.
Fire: When a player discards a house,
he takes all its occupants into his hand,
including any Pets.
