インターネット上の無料翻訳サイトに入力した中央省庁や大手メーカーのもの

インターネット上の無料翻訳サイトに入力した中央省庁や大手メーカーのものとみられるメール内容や翻訳結果が、ネット上で閲覧できる状態になっていることが20日、情報セキュリティー会社への取材で分かった。

この翻訳サイトは、グーグルやヤフーなどの大手サイトではないが、約60カ国の言語に対応している。

ネット上で確認されただけでも、中央省庁職員が大手電機メーカー担当者に送ったとみられるメールや、金融機関の内部で東南アジアの企業への融資についてやりとりしたとみられる内容などがネット上で公開されている。省庁職員の電話番号やメールアドレスも含まれていた。

情報セキュリティー会社「ラック」（東京・千代田）によると、この無料翻訳サイトは、翻訳のために入力した文章が、ネット上に公開される仕組みになっていた。

ラック広報担当者は「翻訳サイトの実態を確認しないで業務内容を入力してはいけない。極秘の情報をネット上に入力する際は細心の注意を払うべきだ」としている。
