Starting with the location of income groups, the choropleth map of 2010 average chief of the household income (figure 1) shows a quite clear concentration of high values to the southwest of the historical city center. At the same time it shows some other high levels farthest away, which correspond to clusters of gated-communities. Nevertheless, suburbs are mainly occupied by low income families.12 The historical city center is in an intermediate situation, not being one of the most valued regions, yet with a higher than average income (table 1).
