MF Sergio Busquets, 8 -- Fully concentrating on the job in hand, Busquets was immense on the ball and prompt when intercepting his rivals' attempts to break through. Kept the visitors chasing shadows with his trademark passing triangles and efficient distribution.
MF Ivan Rakitic, N/A -- Forced off after just 19 minutes after feeling discomfort in his calf, Rakitic is the fourth midfielder Barca have lost in as many Champions League games this season. Let's hope the indispensable Croatian international can recover in time for El Clasico on Nov. 21.
MF Andres Iniesta, 8 -- Another remarkably reassuring performance from a crucial player whom Barca have missed dearly in the past month. His ability to dribble into space and always find that minuscule gap in rival defences still makes him the most obvious reference in midfield, some 13 years after his professional debut.
MF Sergi Roberto, 7 -- Started the game as a winger ahead of Sandro Rodriguez and Munir El Haddadi, but the experiment lasted only 20 minutes due to Rakitic's injury. Roberto did not shine as much as Cules have become accustomed to in recent weeks, but delivered another highly committed performance.
FW Neymar Jr., 9 -- The explosive Brazilian burst past defenders time and again, proving that he is virtually unstoppable at the moment. Showed impressive composure to open the scoring from the penalty spot, assisted Suarez for Barca's second after a lightning-fast break and got his name on the score sheet again with a comfortable tap-in in the 83rd minute following a superb assist by Suarez.
FW Luis Suarez, 8 -- The Uruguayan striker endured a frustrating first half in which he was the constant target of tackles, but his perseverance helped him put the record straight in the 59th minute, when a confident finish followed a spectacular dribble. Put Barca's third and final goal on a plate for his Brazilian strike partner.

Substitutes:
FW Munir El Haddadi, 6 -- Replaced Rakitic in the 19th minute and might be disappointed to see his only shot on target, a spectacular long-range volley, saved by the BATE goalkeeper shortly afterward. A minute later, though, Munir forced the penalty from which Neymar opened the scoring.
DF Marc Bartra, 6 -- Replaced Iniesta after 67 minutes, which pushed Mascherano forward to midfield and Busquets to a more attacking, interior position. Bartra was not forced into any errors, which is definitely an improvement on recent appearances.
MF Gerard Gumbau, N/A -- On for Busquets with 15 minutes to go. The 20-year-old, still bizarrely ahead of former Spain under-19 international Sergi Samper in Luis Enrique's pecking order, completed the eight passes he attempted in that time.
