Centered around the famous Azuchi Castle, Azuchi-Momoyama Culture Village is an out-of-this-world theme park where streetscapes replete with the vibes of the Azuchi-Momoyama period spread out before you. You can catch period dramas such as ninja action and oiran (classic female entertainers) shows, and there are numerous attractions you can experience first-hand such as the ninja house chock-full of mechanized moving objects. To top it all off, there are all sorts of ways you can delight in the atmosphere of the Azuchi-Momoyama period, including the “Makeover Picture Building” where you can change into over 100 types of clothing reproduced from the Azuchi-Momoyama period and take pictures or stroll through the park wearing the garb.
The sixth floor of the full-scale replica of Azuchi Castle is a lookout point and is hugely popular as a view spot looking out over the breathtaking scene of Ise Bay.
