Some notes that I think might be useful to know:
- Directory Opus has one installer for both 32-bit and 64-bit and it doesn't ask you whether to install 32-bit or 64-bit during installation. So on 64-bit for example it directly installs into Program Files (64bit folder).
- I suggest use a firewall software to block Directory Opus for both incoming and outgoing connections.
Activation notes:
- Block in firewall and install the software.
- If you're on 32-bit OS, don't launch the software after install. Untick auto launch.
- Go into x86 folder and replace the executable with the existing one in Program Files.
- If you're on 64-bit OS, follow the below info:
- Because Directory Opus directly installs into 64-bit Program Files folder, I've prepared a workaround from 32-bit fixed files enabling them to use on 64-bit system also.
- Install the software. Don't launch. Untick auto launch.
- Go into x64 Launcher and execute it as Admin. When you get the question "Folder already exists, click "Yes" and click on "Install" to finish.
- Launcher may have to close running Windows tasks to do it's job, no worries.
- I tested by setting system clock a few months ahead, seems to be okay on my end.
Please note that this software is really worth buying. So if you like it but the software to support it's development.
