Michelle Gregg’s husband is now the center of investigation regarding the gorilla-shooting incident. Where was he when his child fell into the gorilla’s pen? Recent reports from the police clarified that the boy is three years old, not four, as stated by the zoo management.
The New York Times reported that the police is looking into the events that came before the unfortunate incident. Investigators are looking into possible negligence of the parents leading to the demise of the gorilla and the child’s injury.
Gregg’s excuse for not being able to stop the child from climbing the railing is because she was looking out for other kids. Deonne Dickerson, 37, father of the boy, wasn’t in the vicinity when the incident happened. Witnesses say that only Michelle and their four children was in the zoo. The spokesperson of the family refused to give any response in the wake of the incident. The family haven’t responded about the whereabouts of Dickerson when his son fell into the shallow moat.
