"Karena provokatif dan itu lagu favorit kita buat opening set list di live. Sekalian ditasbihkan aja jadi single pertama. Selain itu kita merasa ada hal-hal baru yang kita mainin disitu, biar seger aja orang liatnya begitu."

Apa hal barunya?

Oca baru masuk waktu itu, sehabis kita jadi opening band idola [Havok konser di Senayan] jadi lah kita konsen garap materi album baru. Tapi karena lagi nggak solid itu, gue sering banget garap materi berdua Oca aja, dateng ke studio berdua, bikin pre pro berdua, cuma gitar sama drum. Haha satir lah ingat era itu. Sering ketawa ngeliat band lain latihan sampe bawa bawa cabe-cabean, kawan-kawan, dll. Ini kami mah berdua aja terus latihan, garap materi. Materi album jadi sekitar 70%, baru akhirnya band pelan-pelan solid lagi. Sampai akhirnya masuk studio rekaman band pun solid lagi, tapi tetap aja album ini nggak matang dengan latihan ya karena itu tadi, proses garap cuma berdua sama drummer. Akhirnya waktu rekaman pun kita jadi nyari chemistry lagi, kayak berasa band baru lagi, lama nggak manggung, lama nggak latihan full team. Itu sih kendala utama. Sampe akhirnya jadi ngelotok banget di kepala materi album ini, dan jadi lah Naluri Pembunuh."

Apa yang membuat SBY tetap tempur di tengah keadaan yang tidak solid?
"Simpel dan klise sih. Basically, kami seneng ngelakuin hal ini, ngeband, bikin rilisan, manggung, tur, dsb. Karena kita perlu menata hidup di luar ngeband, dan main musik begini nggak bisa jadi sandaran hidup. Kadang itu rawan bikin band jadi nggak solid.
